Harvest celebrations The children started the week thinking about why Harvest is important. KS1 children used their forest school time to collect leaves to create a Harvest crown and did some writing to share what they are thankful for. This morning we had a wonderful assembly to celebrate! The whole school took part with songs and poems learnt by the children! We also had a special visit from Reverend Aneal from St Luke's Church. The children loved this engaging story about the first Bread Olympics and we even had a go ourselves! Fabulous Forest School Fun! Whatever the weather, the children are out! Here at Dovers Green, every class has a weekly Forest school session all year round. This week KS1 made animal feeders using apples and pumpkin seeds.
