The Butterflies maths video was filmed back when we were named Badgers but the information remains relevant today. It's so nice to see Mrs Ricketts again! We do miss her!
In this video we explain how we use the White Rose scheme of work and how we adapt it to suit the learning needs of the children. We explain the different ways that we use opportunities on a daily basis to teach maths. There are some pictures showing examples of practical maths activities and we explain the concept of the ‘Concrete, Pictorial, Abstract’ method of teaching maths. Finally we give a list of home learning opportunities and tips on how you can help your child with their maths learning at home.
